KARACHI: The installation of floodlights at Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) owned National Coaching Center in Karachi is in full swing as the poles have been successfully installed on Friday.
Sources privy to the work said that if the pace of the development work continues, the installation would be completed by end of this month. The installation of floodlights was the long standing demand of Karachi-based athletes.
The laying of two small synthetic turfs at the center is also underway but with slow pace. One small synthetic turf is being laid for Hockey 5. Meanwhile, a group of athletes expressed jubilation on the installation of floodlights as it would be a great development for the promotion of sports and athletes of various disciplines.
