ISLAMABAD: The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar has upheld the arrest warrant of KPK Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the audio leak case. The court also cancelled the arrest warrant pending the appearance of the co-accused in court.
During the hearing of the case registered at Bhara Kahu police station yesterday, co-accused Asad Farooq appeared in court with his lawyer. As a result, the court cancelled his non-bailable arrest warrant. However, despite the summons, Ali Amin Gandapur and his lawyer did not appear. Consequently, the court upheld the non-bailable arrest warrant of Gandapur and adjourned the hearing until January 25.
