LAHORE: Local Government Secretary has suspended Zonal Officer Planning (ZOP) under PEEDA Act on account of various charges, including corruption, misuse of power and etc.
Mehwish Naeem (BS-18/Contract/LGS-Planning) Zonal Officer Planning, Data Ganj Baksh Town, Metropolitan Corporation, Lahore was already facing an inquiry under PEEDA Act. The News has already published the inquiry report some days back after which the LG secretary issued an order regarding the suspension of the ZOP. The order stated that she was placed under suspension with immediate effect under section 6 of the PEEDA Act, 2006.
