A fire destroyed three shops in Baldia Town on Wednesday. The fire broke out at one of the shops located at Bismillah Chowk, Sector 4-E. A spokesperson for the fire brigade said that two fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the scene after the incident was reported. The fire brigade vehicles worked tirelessly to contain the flames, which had spread to two or three neighboring shops. Fortunately, no casualties had been reported so far, and the fire was now under control. The authorities were continuing their efforts to extinguish any remaining flames.
