MULTAN: The Animal Save Movement (ASM) has strongly opposed the issuance of hunting licenses for hunting Siberian guest birds that temporarily arrive in the South Punjab region to escape the cold temperatures in their home area.

The ASM also criticized the issuance of hunting licenses to hunt Pakistan’s national animal, the Markhor. It demanded an immediate ban on issuing hunting licenses against guest birds and Markhor. Nations should protect their national animals instead of hunting and killing them.
