LAHORE:The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday recorded the statement of the chief executive of the Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) on the reinstatement of two SDOs who were sacked over corruption charges.
According to sources, one of the SDOs was terminated by the ministry following an internal inquiry, sources revealed. Currently, the Lesco chief is recording his statement with the FIA team, which is investigating four separate cases involving Lesco officers. Sources in the Lesco said the chief executive clarified his position on the issues and denied any wrongdoing.
