This letter refers to the news report ‘Transforming Pakistan’ (January 4, 2025) by Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal. According to the report, the minister said that the Uraan Pakistan initiative is rooted in the comprehensive 5E Framework of exports, e-Pakistan, environment, energy & infrastructure, and equity, ethics, and empowerment.
This, indeed, seems to be a comprehensive and ambitious program to completely turn Pakistan around. I presume if we had a visionary, hard-working, no-nonsense, and honest leader in our midst today he would definitely be implementing a programme of action very similar to Uraan Pakistan.
