LAHORE: Former Pakistan bowling coach Aaqib Javed has been working on a plan to find talented players to bolster Lahore Qalandars for the second edition of the Pakistan Super League.
It has been learnt that Qalandars’ new director cricket is keenly working on a roadmap for the development of young players.
“Aaqib will take some time and share the details when the initial phase of his plan is worked out,” said a source.
On the other hand Peshawar Zalmi has developed a comprehensive programme for cricket development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Zalmi is taking its hunt for talented cricketers to the small towns and places of the province.
The owners of Zamli also have a plan for hockey, which they will be executing in collaboration with the Pakistan Hockey Federation.
