MULTAN: The Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Foundation (SBBF) celebrated the birth anniversary of Pakistan People’s Party founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto by cutting a cake and vowing to continue his mission.

During the ceremony, SBBF chief organiser Salim Shahzad stated that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto never compromised on principles, fought against dictatorship, and bestowed nuclear power upon Pakistan, along with giving the country the Constitution of 1973. Shahzad emphasised that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is carrying forward the patriotic vision of his grandfather and mother, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, with the support of millions of people. Shaheed Bhutto played a vital role in advocating for the rights of labourers, farmers, women, and youth. The workers of the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Foundation at the event reaffirmed their commitment to standing by the party leadership, including President Asif Ali Zardari and party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. They expressed their belief that Bilawal Bhutto has the true leadership qualities needed to lead the country as the next Prime Minister. Currently, all eyes are on Bilawal Bhutto, as the PPP continues to provide financial aid to deserving women through the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) and works tirelessly towards fulfilling the promise of “Roti, Kapra aur Makan.”

The SBBF activists who participated in the ceremony included Sajjad Ahmed, Saeed Ahmed, Tane Shah, Noman, Shafqat Raza, Tariq Butt, Muhammad Taj, Akbar Arabi, Shoaib Khokhar, Amjad Hussain, Yunus, Yousuf Dogar, Mohsin Raza, Muhammad Faisal and others.
