LAHORE: The Punjab government has decided to pay cash award to five Deputy Commissioners (DCs) on account of their performance. The chief minister has approved the cash awards as honorarium equal to two basic pays. The DCs whose names are selected for the cash awards included Zulfiqar Ahmad Bhoon, DC Bahawalnagar, Ameera Baidar, DC Layyah, Sadia Mehr, DC Pakpattan, Khalid Javed Goraya, DC Mianwali and Agha Zaheer Abbas Sherazi, DC Murree.
