LAHORE:Partly cloudy and cold weather continued to prevail in the City here on Tuesday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country. They predicted that mainly cold and dry weather was expected in most parts of the country while very cold in hilly areas during morning/night hours.
Moderate to dense fog (in patches) was likely to persist in northeastern Punjab while, shallow to moderate in south Punjab and upper Sindh during morning/night hours. Rainfall was recorded at some cities across the country. Tuesday’s minimum temperature was recorded at Leh where mercury dropped to -10°C, while in Lahore, it was 5.4°C and maximum was 19.5°C.
