PBF elects office-bearers

ISLAMABAD: Lt Col (r) Muhammad Nasir Ijaz Tung took over as president of the Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) following the Council meeting held on Tuesday.

Begum Ishrat Ashraf, Chairperson PBF has adopted changes in the management following the completion of two terms by its president Muhammad Khalid Mahmood, and Secretary General, Lt Col (r) Muhammad Nasir Ijaz Tung.

The newly-appointed leadership team resolved to foster a culture of excellence in boxing and build on the strong foundation laid by their predecessors. The PBF will continue to nurture talent, promote inclusivity, and strengthen Pakistan’s presence in the international boxing arena.

PBF members congratulated Muhammad Khalid Mahmood on his unanimous appointment as the Chair of the Constitution Commission of Asia Boxing and also congratulated Lt. Col (r) Muhammad Nasir Ijaz Tung President PBF for being appointed as the Member of the Olympic Commission in Asian Boxing.
