The collapsing state of rule of law in Pakistan has become one of the most pressing concerns for the nation. Over the past few years, the failure to respect the rule of law has not only weakened democratic institutions but also increased corruption, inequality, and insecurity throughout the country. The justice system in Pakistan is plagued by delays, inefficiencies, and a lack of accountability. Many citizens are left without access to timely and fair justice, while powerful individuals and institutions continue to avoid the law due to political influence or power. The pile of cases in courts, combined with the lack of resources, further worsens this crisis.
It is crucial that the government and judiciary work together to implement reforms that will strengthen the rule of law in Pakistan. This includes ensuring the independence of the judiciary, enhancing the efficiency of courts, and holding lawbreakers accountable regardless of their status or position.
