Authority checks cleanliness, encroachment
GUJRANWALA: Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmed conducted a detailed visit to DC Road, Shamsi Underpass, GT Road, and adjacent areas early in the morning to review the Clean Punjab cleanliness operation.
He issued instructions to the Assistant Commissioners to ensure the provision of cleanliness services through strict supervision and utilisation of resources. The DC also directed the Municipal Corporation and Gujranwala Waste Management Company officials to eliminate encroachments on the roads and stop dumping garbage to maintain the city’s beautification.
Naveed said that under the good governance initiatives of the Chief Minister, the district administration is working on city beautification projects, conducting regular operations to eliminate encroachments, and monitoring all operations.
