He said under the influence of the new weather system, Islamabad, Malakand, Hazara, Mardan, Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore and Faisalabad divisions were expected to have rains coupled with strong winds and dust storm in the next 48 hours.
The PMD official said there was a likelihood of thundershowers falling at scattered places in Bannu, DI Khan, Multan, DG Khan, Bahawalpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Quetta, Zhob divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan in two days.
The PMD has already alerted the people across the country, including Islooites, to the possibility of the coming monsoon being wetter than normal.
