LALAMUSA: In a preemptive move to curb illegal kite flying ahead of the Basant festival, police have intensified efforts to seize kites and strings from sellers across Gujrat.
The operation conducted by Lorry Adda police led to the arrest of a kite seller, Habib Asif Rahmani, a resident of Kalupura. The police have recovered 105 kites and 10 rolls of string from Rahmani’s possession. A case has been registered against him.
