May 9 case: Two PTI MPs declared absconder
Court summons MNA Ali Afzal Sahi and MPA Junaid Afzal Sahi on Jan 2

FAISALABAD: An anti-terrorism court has declared PTI MNA and former provincial minister Ali Afzal Sahi and his brother MPA Junaid Afzal Sahi as absconders for failing to appear in court in the May 9 case.
According to court sources, the two brothers are accused of involvement in an attack on the office of a sensitive agency in the Civil Lines area. The court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants and directed the Civil Lines SHO to list the accused in the proclaimed offenders’ register.
Additionally, the court has instructed the police to proceed with further legal action and summoned both accused to appear on January 2. The court has also sought details of the accused’s properties.
