Rawalpindi : Dil Samandar is a collection of poems by Batool Afreen, mostly about love. The themes are mostly beneficial, practical and moving; they contain subjects such as romantic love, and self-love.
The poems have a musical tempo to them. All of them are in rhyme. They are also plainspoken and forthright, which makes them easy to comprehend. They handsomely capture the diverse phases of love lifetime and loss, arousing various sentiments. I liked the cheerful, affirmative, and confident topics of the poems. I also liked that the poems were informal to understand and not at all ambiguous. Some poems symbolise that heart-pounding, sweaty-palm sensation that comes when you are attracted to someone; these poems made me sentimental. I was also delighted by the poems, which highlighted the significance of caring for others. Several poems call for unity notwithstanding our differences in race, beliefs, etc. I truly think they spring from the heart. I immeasurably enjoyed reading them.
The poems offer a warm feeling that remains with you long after you have finished reading them. It is a collection of poems adjusted to love, happiness, hope, and perseverance.
