LAHORE:A school headmistress accused of taking five expensive women’s dresses as a bribe to verify a family pension case has been exposed by a school guard during an inquiry by the Anti-Corruption Department.

Rehan Bashir, a resident of Lahore, lodged a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Department, Director General Office alleging that the headmistress of a Government Girls High School in Johar Town, Lahore, along with her staff, colluded to verify his late mother’s family pension case in exchange for five women’s suits.

According to the complaint, the headmistress repeatedly summoned Bashir to her office, subjecting him to mental distress before verifying the case. However, during the inquiry, school guard Ali Yusuf provided a signed statement confirming that the headmistress had indeed taken the dresses.

The headmistress, who had initially denied the allegations under oath and attempted to mislead the inquiry officer, was reportedly left in disarray upon the guard's testimony. She pleaded with the officer for forgiveness. The inquiry officer has summoned two additional key witnesses and scheduled the next hearing for the upcoming Monday to further investigate the case.
