Punjab CBD launches documentary ‘Year of Sar Bulandi 2025’

LAHORE: Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) also known as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), launched the logo and documentary for the "Year of Sar Bulandi 2025" to celebrate the remarkable achievements of 2024.

The documentary was unveiled by CBD Punjab CEO Imran Amin and COO Brig (retd) Mansoor Janjua on Friday. This initiative highlighted the groundbreaking ceremonies of flagship projects such as Nawaz Sharif Information Technology NSIT City and Lahore Global Village, the unveiling of transformative ventures.

These accomplishments reflected CBD Punjab’s commitment to innovation, growth, and sustainable urban development. In addition to these projects, the documentary also celebrated significant infrastructural milestones achieved in 2024. The completion of the Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed Flyover and the opening of CBD Route 47 have significantly enhanced urban mobility and regional connectivity. The near completion of Walton Road’s upgradation, including the conversion of Adda Nullah, further underscored CBD Punjab’s focus on sustainable and inclusive development.

The departments such as Commercial, Legal & HR, Technical, Operations & Admin, Land & Estate, and Finance played an instrumental role in achieving these landmarks. Central Business District Punjab Punjab CEO Imran Amin remarked that last year was a transformative period for CBD Punjab. “We not only achieved but exceeded our goals, laying a strong foundation for the future. As we embark on 2025, our focus remains steadfast on delivering groundbreaking initiatives that will redefine urban development in Pakistan.”

Brig (retd) Mansoor said that the ‘2025 - Year of Sar Bulandi’ documentary is a testament to the extraordinary efforts of our workforce. “I am confident that 2025 will be a year of unprecedented growth and innovation.”

He said as the ‘Year of Sar Bulandi’ has begun, CBD Punjab is ready to launch new initiatives such as the CBD Quaid District and Lahore Global Village while completing key projects like CBD NSIT City and Walton Road.
