Armed robbers loot house in Takhtbhai

TAKHTBHAI: Around six armed robbers broke into a house and collected gold ornaments, cash and valuables and fled unchallenged in the jurisdiction of Saro Shah Police Station in the Mehter Ghundi area in Takhtbhai, police officials said on Thursday.
They said that the armed robbers first broke the window of a room of the house of Zahir Shah, who works in Saudi Arabia, last night, and forced their entry into the home.The accused, they added, took the inmates, the wife of Zahir Shah and her 20-year old son Jalil hostage at gunpoint and then started collecting valuables, including 25 tolas gold, Rs300,000 cash, a car, motorcycle and two valuable mobile phones.
