LAHORE: A report by the Public Accounts Committee of the Punjab Assembly has revealed irregularities in the purchase of streetlights worth Rs121 million during the PTI tenure.
The report suggests that the records related to the purchase of streetlights by the Metropolitan Corporation Lahore were misplaced.
According to the report, the plan to install streetlights was not even registered in the records. It further disclosed that the Metropolitan Corporation Lahore had made illegal purchases in the fiscal year 2019-20.
All necessary arrangements for the re-polling have been completed, says ECP spokesperson
