Man killed, four injured over land dispute

HAFIZABAD: A man was killed while four others were injured over a land dispute at Kot Hassan Khan on Thursday.
PPP ex-president Malik Maqsood Awan’s son Mansoor Awan had a land dispute with Muhammad Ali. On the day of the incident, Muhammad Ali along with Master Muhammad Naeem, Shaukat Ali, Jehangir and others was present at his brick kiln when Mansoor and others came there and allegedly opened indiscriminate firing. As a result, Muhammad Ali was killed on the spot while four others, including Naeem, Shaukat and Jehangir, were seriously injured. They were shifted to a hospital.
TWO YOUTHS DROWN: Two youths drowned in a pond at Rai Chand on Thursday.
Kashif Khizar and his friend Muhammad Awais were taking bath in a pond when they drowned. On information, Rescue 1122 reached the spot and recovered their bodies.
