LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has hailed the launch of Uran Pakistan, calling it a comprehensive roadmap for sustainable development.
“Pakistan has taken off to fly high,” she said, lauding Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his team for presenting the initiative. “It has been proven once again that development remains the top priority of the Pakistan Muslim League (N).”
The chief minister emphasized that the country is on a steady path toward economic progress under Nawaz Sharif’s vision.
“Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his team are working tirelessly to ensure economic stability and improve the lives of ordinary citizens,” she said, adding that Uran Pakistan is a remarkable blueprint for sustainable development.
Maryam Nawaz highlighted the significance of the “Five-E” vision—exports, environment, e-governance, energy, and equity—calling it commendable. “While the economy is stabilising, greater attention must now be given to social development,” she stressed.
She also issued a stern warning against those obstructing progress. “The nation will no longer tolerate those who stand in the way of development. Exploiting Pakistan’s population potential and utilising available resources effectively is imperative,” she said, labelling detractors as enemies of the people. Extending New Year greetings, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz prayed for a prosperous and happy year for Pakistan.
“Congratulations to the entire nation on the beginning of the new year,” she said. “I pray that 2025 brings happiness, health, and safety to my people. Let this year be a collective resolve to embark on a brighter future.” She reiterated her commitment to completing key projects, including the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital, Sargodha Cardiology Institute, Autism School, and IT City. “In 2025, we aim to eliminate poverty, terrorism, extremism, and crime from our beloved homeland,” she pledged.
