PTI MNA gets transit bail
PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Wednesday granted transit bail to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and Member National Assembly Barrister Umair Niazi until January 16 and directed him to appear before the relevant court.
A single bench of PHC Justice Naeem Anwar heard the petition while Advocate Adeel Butt represented the petitioner.He informed the court that his client was an MNA elected from Mianwali and that a case had been registered against him at the Pir Pehai Police Station in Mianwali. He pleaded that the petitioner had already been granted transit bail in 10 other cases. After arguments, the court granted transit bail to the petitioner until January 16 and instructed him to appear before the relevant court within the stipulated time.
