CHARSADDA: The district administration on Wednesday provided relief goods and essential items to a family displaced from violence-hit Kurram tribal district and relocated in Charsadda a few days ago.

The administration has also assured the affected family of complete support in every possible way.On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Qaiser Khan, Assistant Commissioner Riaz Ahmad met the five-member family, who had migrated from Sadda in Kurram district to Charsadda due to the ongoing conflict. He assured them of full support from the district administration.

The assistant commissioner provided the family with essential supplies, including food, blankets, kitchen sets and other necessities. The five-member family comprising one Fazal Nabi, his wife, and three young children, had fled Kurram district due to the severe insecurity, threats to life and property, lack of food supplies, unavailability of medical facilities and employment opportunities.

It is noteworthy that the family arrived in Charsadda a few days ago after traversing difficult and treacherous routes. Upon their arrival, they spent one freezing night at the bus station and the next at a government rest-house.

According to the head of the family Fazal Nabi, they had hired a vehicle from Sadda for Rs18,000, which transported them through various rugged mountainous and unfrequented routes to Charsadda.
