ISLAMABAD: Mohammad Shoaib was stretched to three sets by Ahmad Nael Qureshi before the former won the first-round match in the 10th Begum Kulsum Saifullah Khan National Ranking Tennis Championships 2024 at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex Wednesday.
Shoaib won 6-7(7), 6-3, 6-2. Other men’s singles title aspirants Aqeel Khan and Muzammil Murtaza won their matches in straight sets. Senator Salim Saifullah Khan, Patron PTF, visited the PTF Complex Wednesday to witness some matches. He interacted with the players and wished them good luck in the tournament.
