PAF, Army win national hockey matches

KARACHI: Three matches were played in the ongoing DHA National Senior Hockey Championship at the Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium here on Wednesday.
In the first match, PAF outclassed Federal Territory Islamabad 14-1. Abdul Rehman and Mohsin scored four and three goals, respectively. Rizwan and Hasan scored two goals each. Gul Sher, Usman and Zaheer Hussain scored one goal each. From Islamabad Umer scored the only goal. Abdul Rehman was declared the man of the match. In the second match, Army defeated Punjab 4-0. Mehran, Kaleem, Wasim and Shehbaz scored one goal each. Army’s Ali Raza was declared the man of the match.
