LAHORE: To ensure public safety during New Year celebrations, police have identified hotspots and main roads prone to one-wheeling and aerial firing. Drone cameras and night vision binoculars will be deployed for surveillance, with violators facing strict legal action. Over 6,000 officers will be on duty, including 2,000 additional personnel for enhanced crowd control. Special squads will monitor farmhouses, rooftops, and known offenders, while measures are in place to curb narcotics supply.
