Body found stuffed in abandoned refrigerator

LAHORE:Body of a young man, bearing signs of torture, was found in a refrigerator abandoned on a roadside in the Shafiqabad area.

According to details, local residents alerted the police after noticing blood seeping from the refrigerator. Upon arrival, police identified the victim as Nabil, who had been shot in the head by unidentified assailants. Police stated that the body was initially placed in a cardboard box before being concealed in the refrigerator. The body was shifted to morgue and a case was registered.

Man stabbed, injured

A 27-year-old man sustained serious injuries after being attacked by six individuals with knives in the Factory Area on Tuesday. The injured man, identified as Mudassar, was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. According to initial reports, the attack occurred over a monetary dispute. A case was registered against a suspect named Muna Taylor and five to six unidentified individuals based on a complaint filed by the victim’s father, Manzoor.

14 die on road in 24 hrs

The ESD responded to 1,135 road accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. In these accidents, 14 people died, whereas 1,198 were injured.
