Reply sought in HEC scholarship entry test

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court has sought a response from the administration within 14 days in a petition filed for halting the entry test for scholarships by the Higher Education Commission due to the deteriorating law and order situation in Kurram.
The case was heard by a two-member bench comprising Justice Kamran Hayat Miankhel and Justice Dr Khurshid Iqbal. The hearing was adjourned to January 16.
During the proceedings, Justice Kamran Hayat expressed the hope that a peace agreement would be reached in Kurram. He asked the parties to work with the local administration to resolve the issue.Justice Kamran Hayat directed that these proposals be submitted in writing for the court to make an appropriate decision.
