Moot on Kashmir’s cultural heritage ends

Islamabad:The two-day Kashmir Jannat Nazeer event wrapped up at Islamabad Model College for Girls, F-8/1, here.

The event was designed to showcase the vibrant and diverse cultural heritage of Kashmir while promoting themes of peace, unity, and solidarity. A wide range of activities took place, including stage performances, film screenings, documentaries, and lectures by scholars, a computer graphics competition, and more. Prominent attractions included stalls featuring Kashmiri handicrafts, traditional clothing, cuisine, art, culture, and a display of Kashmiri plants. The event concluded with a peace walk, symbolising solidarity and harmony.

Kashmiri leader Mishal Hussain Malik, wife of Yasin Malik (Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front), along with FDE Director (Schools) Dr Tabassum Naz, Principal of IMCG, F-8/1) Aasia Rafique Malik, Principal of ICG, F-6/2 Saba Faisal, FDE Director (Academics) Riffat Jabeen, managing director of National Book Foundation Murad Ali Mohmand, and many students participated in this meaningful gathering. Earlier, participants experienced various aspects of Kashmiri culture, including handicrafts, traditional attire, fellowship, live music performances by students, the launch of a book on Kashmiri literature, painting competitions, and Kashmiri cuisine.
