Customs, Army, NBP win matches in National Senior Hockey
KARACHI: Three matches were played on the second day of the ongoing DHA National Senior Men’s Hockey Championship at the Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium here on Sunday.
In the first match, Customs beat Islamabad 6-0. Bilal scored two goals. Hamza Fayyaz, Samiullah, Rana Shoaib and Shehzaib Khan scored one goal each. In the second match, Army outclassed Balochistan 8-1. Mehran scored three goals on penalty corners. Ahmed Liaqat, Saqib Ali, Kaleemullah, Shahbaz and Mohammed Arslan scored one goal apice. Qazi Anus scored the lone goal from Balochistan.
In the third match NBP subdued Sindh 6-1. Faizan performed brilliantly and scored three goals. Dulbar Hassan, Mohammed Aziz and Usman Ashraf scored one goal each. From Sindh Nauman Khan scored the only goal. Renowned builder Naveed Siddiqui was the chief guest.
