KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that it will remain closed for public dealing on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in observance of a ‘Bank Holiday’.
According to an official notification, all banks, development finance institutions (DFIs) and microfinance banks (MFBs) across the country will also remain closed to the public on this date.However, the SBP clarified that employees of these institutions are required to attend their offices as usual.
