Suspect arrested for harassing woman

LAHORE:Police arrested a suspect for harassing a woman on a bus travelling from Lahore to Sheikhupura after she reported the incident via 15 Emergency Helpline. The Virtual Women Police Station tracked the bus's location, and officers apprehended the suspect at the next stop. The man apologised, and the woman chose to forgive him.

Criminals arrested in multiple operations

Police arrested multiple suspects in various operations here in the provincial metropolis. Nadarabad and Masti Gate police arrested two two-member gangs, recovering five motorcycles, weapons, and phones. Soye Aasil Police arrested Waqas, a parking stand worker, using CCTV footage, recovering a stolen car. Shad Bagh Police nabbed Kashif Siddique alias "Goshi Butt" with over 2kg hashish and cash. Race Course Police arrested Javed Masih with 10 liters of imported liquor. South Cantonment Police arrested five suspects after three were injured in a minor argument.

IG meets cops, families

IG Punjab met with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office, listening to their concerns and issuing immediate relief orders.

In response to Lady Sub-Inspector Maimoona Hashmi's promotion request from Lahore, IG Punjab directed the Additional IG Punjab to provide relief. He also instructed relief for the promotion requests of Sub-Inspectors M Aslam and M Umar from Rawalpindi. Regarding AD Ejaz Hashmi's request for a flat, IG Punjab issued instructions to the AIG Development. For Inspector Ameer Qabil's transfer request from Sargodha, IG Punjab directed the Additional IG Punjab to take action. Additionally, he ordered the Additional IG Elite Police Force to address the transfer requests of Ghazi Constables Shakeel Ahmed and Nadeem Akhtar from Sheikhupura. IG Punjab also directed DIG Establishment-I to provide relief for Arslan Asad, the son of a martyred constable from Hafizabad, based on his application.
