Irfan hopes amicable solution in talks with PTI

ISLAMABAD : PMLN Parliamentary Leader and Chairman Senate Foreign Affairs Committee Senator Irfan Siddiqui has said that talks between the government and the opposition have begun, which has paved the way for a possible solution to the ongoing political tension in the country, hoping that the issues will be resolved amicably.

In an interview to a private TV Channel, Senator Irfan Siddiqui reiterated the government’s commitment to finding an amicable solution with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying that dialogue and reconciliation are the only way to resolve Pakistan’s problems.

He stressed that the government is ready to talk openly to move forward.Senator Irfan Siddiqui stressed the need for tolerance among the members of the PTI’s negotiation committee, saying that they should participate in constructive talks and avoid provocative statements to ensure a fruitful and peaceful resolution process.

He clarified that the written demands of the PTI would be reviewed in the next meeting of the committee.Senator Irfan Siddiqui added that the PTI’s decision to present its Charter of Demands in writing will provide a solid basis for negotiations.

He said that the PTI has agreed to this approach, and their proposals can be reviewed in constructive discussions.Senator Irfan Siddiqui paid tribute to the Father of the Nation, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, on his birth anniversary and stressed the importance of unity among the nation.

He urged all Pakistanis to put aside their differences and work for the bright future of the country, which was envisioned by Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
