Karachi, being the largest city in Pakistan, faces severe traffic congestion, affecting millions of commuters daily. The city’s rapid growth, inadequate infrastructure, and lack of effective traffic management have led to this crisis. Key challenges include inadequate public transport, inadequate road infrastructure, and lack of traffic management.
To address these challenges, I recommend: conducting a comprehensive traffic study to identify key bottlenecks and areas for improvement, collaborating with stakeholders, including citizens, traffic experts, and government agencies, to develop a sustainable traffic management plan and allocating sufficient funds to implement the proposed solutions and ensure their effective execution.
