The traffic police appear to have started a campaign in Karachi to apprehend those driving without a licence. While this could be termed a step in the right direction, the rule-breaking on our roads is so rampant that it is hard to tell the difference between licenced and un-licenced drivers. There is a need to strengthen traffic laws and enforcement in general in order for things to improve.
