ISLAMABAD: The Indian Congress has accused the ruling Indian NDA government of bypassing the defence procurement procedure in the multi-crore French made fighter Rafale deal.Briefing the media in Indian capital, senior Congress leader former Indian Defence Minister AK Antony questioned the Centre’s move to buy 36 Rafale fighter jets from Dassault in flyaway condition in the absence of inter-governmental agreement with France. He recalled that several top leaders of the BJP had opposed the deal during the UPA regime.Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to France last month, had signed an agreement to buy 36 Rafale fighter jets in flyaway condition for over $6 billion.
