Afghan leaders says Shahadat of Khalilur Rehman Haqqani would not deter courage of Afghani leaders

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Jamiat Ulema e Islam-F (JUIF) reached Kabul to offer condolences on the death of Khalilur Rehman Haqqani, senior leader of Afghan Taliban and Afghanistan’s minister for refugees.

The JUIF delegation led by Senator Maulana Attaur Rehman also comprises Maulana Salahuddin Ayubi, Maulana Attaul Haq Darvesh and Sahibzada Salwan Mahmood. The delegation which reached Kabul on directives of JUIF chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman met Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani and other leaders of Imarat Islami Afghanistan to condole the death of Haqqani, a statement issued by a JUIF spokesman said. The JUIF leader said that sacrifices of Imarat Islami leaders freed Afghanistan from US occupation. They said that Shahadat of Khalilur Rehman Haqqani would not deter courage of Afghani leaders.
