15 injured in clash between two families

BAHAWALPUR: Fifteen people were injured in a clash between two families at Mauza Ranaika near Bahawalnagar on Wednesday morning.
There was a dispute over land route between Joiya and Chishti families. On the day of the incident, both groups attacked each other with clubs and axes. As a result, Muhammad Jahangir Chishti, Muhammad Anwar Chishti, Muhammad Azam Chishti, Alam Ali Chishti, Muhammad Anwar, Atif Joiya, Ahmad Iqbal, Mujahid, Ahmad Hassan, Qayyum, Munir and Khalid were injured. The injured people were shifted to the Bahawalnagar DHQ Hospital.
BRICK KILN SEALED FOR CHILD LABOUR: District Coordination Officer Ahtesham Anwar raided a brick kiln at Khairpur Tamewali on Wednesday.
During the raid, three children were found engaged in child labour. To it, the DCO immediately sealed the brick kiln and directed the SHO to register a case against the owner.
Meanwhile, the DCO said that the government was fully committed to wipe out the menace of child labour at the brick kilns. He directed the assistant commissioner to submit his explanation regarding violation of the child labour at in his jurisdiction.
IFTAR: National Assembly Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting member MNA Begum Perveen Masood Bhatti held an Iftar dinner with orphan children at the Child Protection Bureau here on Wednesday. Child Protection Bureau in-charge Noshaba Malik was also present.
