Gang-raped woman dies in hospital
Main accused in case, Ghuffaran alias Haroon, has been sent to Lahore for DNA tests

BAHAWALPUR: A woman, resident of Chak-184/7-R of Tehsil Fort Abbas, Bahawalnagar, who had been gang-raped, brutality tortured and burnt with acid, on Monday died in the ICU of the Bahawal Victoria Hospital Bahawalpur.
Talking to The News, her heirs demanded Section 7-ATA in the FIR. Baghdadul Jadeed SHO Abid Hameed told The News Section 302 had been included in the FIR. He said the main accused, Ghuffaran known as Haroon who was on judicial remand, had been sent to Lahore for DNA tests. The family members said the girl was staying in a private hostel and doing an online business course. The accused had trapped her by offering her a job with the help of a hostel fellow girl.
