LAHORE:The Department of Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education has sent a requisition to the Punjab Public Service Commission for the recruitment of 456 Head Nurses of Grade 17 on the vacant posts.
A requisition has also been sent to the Punjab Public Service Commission for the recruitment of 113 Nursing Instructors/Clinical Nursing Instructors/Deputy Nursing Superintendents of Grade 17. A requisition has also been sent to the PPSC for the recruitment of 32 Chief Nursing Instructors/Principals/Vice Principals of Grade 18. Recently, the Department of Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education has recruited 3,000 charge nurses through the PPSC. Punjab Health Secretary Azmat Mahmood said that the shortage of doctors and nurses in government hospitals of Punjab was being filled on priority basis.
