LAHORE:The second phase of Chief Minister Internship Programme has started and the applications of more than four thousand youth have been received in the first two days of programme.
Secretary Youth Affairs and Sports Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial shared this information while presiding over a review meeting of Chief Minister Internship Programme at the Punjab Stadium on Monday. DG Youth Affairs and Sports Punjab Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry, Additional Secretary Mian Usman Ali, Chief Digital Officer Bank of Punjab Nofal Dawood, Director Admin Dr M Kaleem and other officials participated in the meeting. Addressing the meeting, Muzaffar Khan Sial said that the aim of Youth Affairs Department Punjab is to highlight the potential of the talented youngsters and provide them sufficient opportunities to excel and grow in their respective fields.
Christmas event at UVAS
The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) arranged a ceremony for its Christian employees in connection with the Christmas at City Campus here on Monday. UVAS Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Younus presided over the Christmas cake-cutting ceremony while Pastor Dr Jameel Nasir, Pastor Javed Younus and Christian employees, their families staff members participated in the ceremony. While addressing the audience, Prof Younus congratulated the Christian employees on celebrating Christmas. He said it was the need of the time to defeat all the hatred and spread the message of ‘love, peace, brotherhood & harmony’.
