Man burnt alive as speeding car catches fire

LAHORE:A speeding car caught fire near Mughalpura on Canal Road, leaving one person dead and another injured, police said on Sunday.

The incident occurred when the vehicle, travelling at high speed, suddenly burst into flames. The driver, identified as Taimoor, succumbed to burn injuries at the scene, while a passenger, Umar was injured. Rescue teams rushed to the spot, but the car was completely destroyed. Umar was shifted to hospital for treatment, where his condition remains critical. Police have taken the burnt vehicle into custody and initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
