Shimla Hill, Lahore is situated at an important location. It is near the American Consulate, Lahore Press Club, Punjab Public Service Commission office, and several other important sites. Many people visit the area daily using the bus services. Normally, during their commute, they face troubles in alighting and boarding these buses because there is a discrepancy in their stops.
Some passengers who alight at nearby stops have to cross four roads to reach the Nadra stop. The Shaheen Complex stop also does not suit them because they have to cover a long distance to reach the Nadra centre stop or any other stop near Shimala Hill. It is beyond the comprehension of many, including myself, why this stop is at such an inconvenient location. What would have been the harm in establishing a stop opposite the Nadra centre instead?
