This is how the building and repairs process in Pakistan’s construction industry usually works: a particular site is dug up, making travelling through the affected area extremely difficult, and then work stops for weeks or even months. If it rains during this period, the travel difficulties are only exacerbated and compounded by health hazards such as dengue. I want to ask why we follow this pattern. Why does the building of roads not continue soon after digging?
