Nowshera Press Club office-bearers elected
NOWSHERA: The annual elections for the Nowshera Press Club for the year 2025 were successfully completed, with Mushtaq Ahmad Paracha elected as president and Muhammad Shahid as general secretary.
The newly elected office-bearers included Syed Qasim Shah as vice-president, Nasir Khan as joint secretary, and Haji Zahoor Ahmad as finance secretary.
The election proceedings were conducted under the supervision of the Election Committee Chairman, Advocate Fida Muhammad Khan Afridi, who is also the president of the District Bar Association Nowshera, and vice-chairman, Usman Khan advocate.
The elections were held in accordance with the schedule set by the committee at the Nowshera Press Club building. The process, which lasted for five days, was carried out in compliance with the directives from the Provincial Secretary of Information Arshad Khan, DG Information Muhammad Saleem Khan and the Press Registrar Ansar Khilji.
The election committee, led by Advocate Fida Muhammad Afridi and Usman Khan, announced the results following a thorough process.Haji Mushtaq Ahmad Paracha was elected as president, and Muhammad Shahid as general secretary.
The other elected members included Syed Qasim Shah (vice president), Nasir Khan (joint secretary), Zahoor Ahmad (finance secretary). The members of the governing body include Noor Khaliq Khattak, Wajid Ali, Syed Taj Meer Shah and Syed Wali Ullah Shah.
