HYDERABAD: The first convocation of Bilawal Medical College for Boys was held at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) Jamshoro, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of its inaugural batch.
In his address, Vice Chancellor LUMHS Prof Dr Ikram Din Ujjan, emphasized that the graduation ceremony is one of the most significant events in the university’s calendar. He congratulated the 98 graduates of the first MBBS batch of Bilawal Medical College, who were conferred their degrees during the ceremony.
Prof Dr Ujjan highlighted that the establishment of Bilawal Medical College was a visionary initiative, driven by unwavering commitment and collaborative efforts. He said the institution stands as a testament to the resolve to expand medical education and provide opportunities for aspiring doctors in Sindh. The college was conceived with the goal of nurturing future leaders in healthcare, and he expressed pride in seeing this vision materialise with the graduation of the first batch. He also acknowledged the services of the former Vice Chancellor of LUMHS Prof Dr Noshad A Shaikh.
