The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) and Sindh governor aim to celebrate Mohajir Culture Day tomorrow (Tuesday) in a historic manner, said a spokesperson for the party.
A meeting was held at the Governor House to review preparations of the Mohajir Culture Day. Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, MQM-P senior leaders Dr Farooq Sattar, Anis Kaimkhani, Aminul Haque and legislators attended the meeting.
The participants emphasised on completing all arrangements as soon as possible to celebrate Mohajir Culture Day on December 24 in a grand manner. The MQM-P said that in connection with the celebrations, reception camps had been set up in various areas of the city, including Orangi Town, Liaquatabad, Nazimabad, New Karachi, Federal B Area, Malir, Landhi, Korangi, Shah Faisal Colony, Burnes Road, Lines Area, University Road, Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
The MQM-P plans to do fireworks on the start of December 24 at 12 midnight. On the night of December 24, people would come from all over the city to participate in the main event of Mohajir Culture Day celebrations at the Governor House.
